City of Wharton Hosts Groundbreaking for
FM 1301 Extension
The City hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the kickoff of construction to the New FM 1301 Extension and Railroad Overpass on March 28, 2023 @ 10am. Among the gusests were numerous State, County and City officials along with the TX Department of Transportation, Wharton Economic Development Corporation and the Wharton County Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.
