The Wharton City Council is seeking people to serve on the following boards and commissions: Beautification City Commission, Building Standards Commission, Holiday Light Decorating Chairman, and Mayor’s Committee on People with Disabilities. The Records Division maintains all offense and accident reports. The division processes and distributes records in compliance with the Texas Public Information Act (Government Code, Chapter 552). Records are responsible for submitting data to the Federal Bureau of Investigations so that reliable crime statistics can be compiled. The Records Division is open Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm and can be reached at telephone number 979-532-3131. |
