The Wharton City Council is seeking people to serve on the following boards and commissions: Beautification City Commission, Building Standards Commission, Holiday Light Decorating Chairman, and Mayor’s Committee on People with Disabilities. NARCOTICS Narcotics consist of one investigator. The Narcotics investigator is assigned to the District Attorney’s Narcotics Tasks Force. The Task Force is comprised of three investigators, one each from the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office, the El Campo Police Department and the Wharton Police Department. The arrangement provides support and coordination of narcotic investigations throughout Wharton County. |
